Zkouška pilota Pirxe / Test pilota Pirxa

Blízká budoucnost. Velké elektronické koncerny konstruují model robota, který by teoreticky uměl nahradit člověka. Vidina zvětšené produkce však znepokojuje UNESCO a to organizuje misi na Saturn, během níž jeden z nejúspěšnějších letců – Pirx má za úkol otestovat užitečnost robotů pro jejich použití ve vesmíru. Mezi členy posádky jsou lidé a roboti, ale Pirx neví, kdo je kdo. Touha po odhalení pravdy se ale postupně stává nebezpečnou hrou… 

Near future. Large electronic corporations are constructing a model of a robot that could theoretically replace a human. However, the vision of increased production is of concern to UNESCO and is organizing a mission to Saturn, during which one of the most successful pilots – Pirx – has the task of testing the usefulness of robots for their use in space. Crew members include humans and robots, but Pirx doesn’t know who’s who. But the desire to discover the truth is gradually becoming a dangerous game…
